We are also a proud member of the Leather Working Group (LWG), which promotes environmental best practices within the leather industry.

 

Why Leather?

At Adesso, we believe that leather is currently one of the best materials for making high-quality, long-lasting shoes. Leather's durability and breathability make it ideal for footwear, providing superior comfort and longevity compared to many synthetic alternatives. Importantly, well-sourced leather has a lower environmental footprint than materials like plastic, especially when it's responsibly produced, as it is in our LWG- Gold certified tanneries.

Our focus on leather helps reduce the waste associated with fast fashion by offering shoes that are built to last. However, we are always on the lookout for new materials that offer the same level of quality, comfort and durability while being even more eco-friendly. We believe in constant innovation and improvement, and our goal is to stay at the forefront of sustainable footwear.
